About
About BuyLinkBuilding and the buyers we write for
We run a marketplace for single backlinks, and this site is written for the person who has to explain the purchase to someone else.
What we sell
We sell individual dofollow backlinks, as editorial placements and link insertions, on a catalogue of 50,000+ vetted donor domains. Each row carries Domain Rating, organic traffic, referring domains, niche, language and price.
Prices start at $1 per link and reach about $500 for the strongest domains. There is no subscription, and you pay for what you put in the basket.
Orders usually go live in about 24 hours. Publishers can also sell links on their own sites, setting a price, approving each placement and receiving weekly payouts.
How an order works, in four moves
Find links
Filter 50,000+ donor domains by Domain Rating, traffic, referring domains, niche, language and price.
Add to basket
Nothing is charged at this stage. The basket is a list you can review, trim or show to an approver.
Pay
Balance is topped up in the dashboard. Invoices and proforma invoices are available for finance.
Track
The placement goes live, usually within about 24 hours, and shows in ordered links with its status.
Three ways to supply the content
Every order uses one of three content modes. In automatic mode you give a target URL and a keyword, and the article is written for you with one clean link to your page.
In the second mode you write a prompt or instructions, which suits teams that have a house style. In the third you provide a finished article, and the placement carries it.
Pick the mode by how much control the client expects. A regulated client usually wants the third.
Ordering by API and by agent
If your team automates purchasing, the marketplace has a REST API with a Bearer key. AI agents such as ChatGPT or Claude can also connect over MCP to browse donors and fill a basket.
Paying is deliberately separate. The agent prepares the basket and a person approves the payment, which suits any process where spend needs a signature.
Balance top-ups happen in the dashboard and not through the API.
Who is behind the pages
The guides are published under the BuyLinkBuilding editorial team name. We have not attached individual names to them, and we have not included customer stories, because we would rather publish nothing than invent anything.
If a statement here looks wrong or out of date, tell us through the account page.
Why the content is written for buyers with a boss
Link buying is often done by someone who answers to a client, a finance team or a managing partner. They need documents, not enthusiasm.
So the guides here are scorecards, runbooks and memos. Start with the vendor scorecard or the budget memo if you need something to forward.
Our numbers come from our own crawler and our own index. They are refreshed periodically, so treat any metric as a snapshot.
We do not promise rankings, write strategy or report on your traffic. For keyword suites and audits, tools such as Ahrefs and Semrush go further than we do.
How to judge us
Judge us on what you can open. Look at a row, price a basket, run the acceptance check on a first order.
A marketplace should survive scrutiny from a sceptical finance person, because that is the person who decides whether you reorder. If something on the site cannot be checked, we would rather you tell us than assume it.
